Briefly about Cyrille Lacharmoise
While Cyrille spent his first 10 years in Cabo as a wedding photographer, he also learned underwater photography during that time. And what a place to learn that – the amazing Sea of Cortez. But once the pandemic first happened, he thought about starting a career in real estate.
In the video, Nick mentions how is agent Gaby Lopez previously worked for Cyrille at his business. Today, the tables have turned – she’s leading and training him to be a successful real estate agent in Cabo.
Now that Cyrille has launched his new real estate career, he’s utilizing his previous business experience very well.
Moving from Paris France to Cabo, Mexico
As the interview progresses, Cyrille mentions to Nick how relocating to Cabo from Paris was more difficult than transitioning to a new real estate career. As he says, although French people and Mexican people get along well, the differences between the two cultures are very different. But as he tells Nick, after dealing with that, he now absolutely loves living in Cabo.
Using prior experience in your new real estate career
During the interview, Nick asks Cyrille some questions. He wants to better-understand Cyrille’s previous work in wedding photography. In regards to stress, Nick asks Cyrille if he’s ever dealt with a crying bride. He responds saying yes, he’s helped to calm many highly-stressed brides in the past.
After that, Nick asks Cyrille what specific experience he applies to his new real estate career. Cyrille tells him that constant contact with leads and previous customers kept him top-of-mind with them. In real estate, the same concept applies.
Cyrille’s next piece of great experience brought to the table is being organized. Having prior business experience, his organization skills are already well developed. That means, everything he does going forward in real estate will be organized quite well from the beginning.
Finally, Nick asks Cyrille what differences have surprised him over his first three months with Ronival. Cyrille mentions how different selling real estate really is. As he says, selling a home is different than selling a photography service – the mentality and the cost are quite different.
What your new real estate career will teach you
According to Cyrille, learning the technology used in real estate has been an exciting challenge. To be specific, learning the CRM system has been a big help for him. When using the CRM, his conversations with clients are much better since all of the information from previous conversation is right at his finger tips.
