Maru was Born and raised in Mexico City. She feels very fortunate to have had, at age 15, the life experience of living for a year in Victoria, Vancouver Island Canada, where she realized that living in a small city gives her the opportunity of having a better life quality. This experience certainly took profound roots in her heart to pursue a dream… live in a small community near the ocean.
In 1996 Maru came to Los Cabos on a vacation trip, she instantly fell in love with the beauty of Baja’s nature, stunning beaches, awe inspiring deserts, the incredible weather and a safe environment. Two months later, her love for the ocean and a small community feel as well as a high-quality lifestyle, made Los Cabos the perfect place to call it home.
“It was my travel to Baja that made me realize that I could live my dream life” -said Maru-.
