In 1996, Chris relocated to San Juan, Puerto Rico, where she continued to excel in real estate with REMAX International, selling franchises across the Caribbean, Central, and South America. She also specialized in helping U.S. government and military personnel relocate to the island. During her time in Puerto Rico, Chris’s dedication to community service shone through as she founded Amigos De Los Animales, a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue organization, which has grown to become one of the largest rescue organizations in the Caribbean.
In 2011, Chris’s love for Baja California drew her to the serene town of Loreto, where she was captivated by the stunning Sierra Grande mountains, the close-knit community, and the diverse marine life of the Sea of Cortez, famously referred to as the “world’s aquarium” by Jacques Cousteau. Chris has since become an integral part of the Loreto community, actively volunteering at local animal shelters and teaching Spanish.
