Aaron, a member of the @Tom Ferry’s organization, is a regular traveler and Greg Willis, the sales manager for Ronival Real Estate, has lived in Baja Sur for over 40 years. When Aaron Cuha first visited Baja Sur
During the introduction of the PODCAST, Aaron describes how he first came to Cabo San Lucas back when he was only eight years old. As it seemed at the time, he was a bit out of control. Because of that, his dad took him on a trip there to get some serious deep sea fishing experience to make a man out of him. He states that this based on a story by Earnest Hemmingway. Most eight-year-olds are not independent. But Aaron on the other hand, just needed some guidance. His drive to get out there and grab life by the horns was remarkable indeed.
Aaron was well on his way to becoming a man after catching not one, but two Marlin, along with his dad catching a Durado. After they got back to shore though, he ended up lost in town, where he explored until midnight. During the scary ordeal, his dad got help from the police to find him. In the video, Aaron calls that experience “awesome!” Obviously, he must have had quite an adventure in Cabo all alone. That is what made him fall in love with Baja Sur, which started a new page in his life. After that, he returned every year until Baja finally became his home-away-from-home.
Greg Willis’ story about how he discovered Baja
First arriving by boat back in 1981, Greg Willis knew nothing about Baja California. Just before he started collage, Greg was walking near some boats in San Diego and saw a boat named “Cabo Fever.” According to his friend, unless you go there, you’ll never understand that statement. Therefore, he took the challenge and booked a boat ride to Cabo.
Greg will never forget the first moment when he arrived in Cabo. As he says, he’d never seen anything quite like it. Just as his boat passed by the Arch of Cabo San Lucas entering the Cabo San Lucas bay, he was in awe. He discovered that there’re so many adventures and activities to experience there. It definitely lit his candle, according to him. He went back the next year and eventually moved there, never looking back.
Starting out as a boat captain in Cabo San Lucas, now 40 years later, Greg Willis now manages the sales staff for the number one and fastest growing real estate organization is Baja Sur…Ronival Real Estate, founded by Nick Fong.
