Lori is a Canadian born adventurer, Realtor and businesswoman who embraces learning and growth in each new chapter of life. “Traveling the world has been a constant and life changing blessing from her earliest memory.” In 1991, on a sun seeking vacation, Lori and her husband put 15,000 US down on a Los Cabos “pre-construction” beachfront condo at the Terrasol condominium resort. When complete it would prove to be great rental revenue for years to come. Within six years she sold her two Vancouver based women’s retail clothing businesses. Ready and excited to leave a hectic city life she opted for an alternate lifestyle traveling south across two borders; the US and Mexico, where Cabo San Lucas opened a unique world of language, culture and the creation of a dream.
The Terrasol condo generated consistent revenue from the start, giving her the incentive to create “Cabo Casa Contenta the number one B&B Inn, on Trip Advisor, directing the overflow from Terrasol to the B&B and never looked back. An additional 2-bedroom Terrasol condo was added to the mix and together with the B&B, the properties fulfilled “living the Los Cabo dream.”
While running the B&B it became evident clients were interested in finding their own piece of Cabo. This opened the door to 10 years of real estate sales and the creation of “thecaboharrisons” while enjoying the revenue from the condos and operating the B&B. The experience of purchasing three properties in Cabo as well as building a personal home three years ago, gave her the “know how” to help others make their purchasing process simpler, safer, and more comfortable, while respecting her client’s lifestyle, finances, and timing.
25 years of hands on knowledge and a life well lived in Los Cabos have given her the desire and ability, to help others in creating “their” dream of a full time residence, or personal vacation home under this “maravelloso” Baja sun Personal highlights:
- Spanish fluency (her continued commitment)-Walking the Camino de Santiago, Spain (150 miles) “solo.”
- Continuing to volunteer with our Los Cabos Humane society; and two other animal rescue agencies in Los Cabos allowing an incredible opportunity to transport 48 rescue dogs/cats to San Francisco, Vancouver & Calgary for permanent adoption.
- Motivational Life Coach training and accreditation from The Hudson Institute of Santa Barbara, The Mentor Path and Coach Training Alliance, all added to the desire and ability to help others in having the courage to create their “DREAMS,” three Kids with tails – all rescues, Esperanza, who landed in her yard during Odile and a large thoroughbred boy, keep life fun and her heart smiling continually.
