Nick Fong is inspired by two quotes
When you watch this short video, see how Nick is inspired by two famous quotes, one from Bob Marley and the other from Audrey Hepburn. As you’ll see in the video, both of these quotes are written on the walls of Nick’s two children.
Putting these quotes on his kid’s walls truly reveals just how much these two quotes mean to Nick. These quotes are placed there so his own kids will be inspired by them as well.
Placed on his son Rocco’s wall, the first quote from Bob Marley is:
“Love the life you live and live the life you live love.”
As he explains, Nick loves this quote because he believes that as long as you’re doing what you love, you’re going to be happy and everything else is just details.
Posted on his daughter Sienna’s wall, the second quote is from Audrey Hepburn:
“Nothing is impossible, the mere word itself is I am possible.”
In the video, Nick calls this quote “eternally optimistic,” which is why he loves this quote so much. He states that is what he is – he’s optimistic.
Two of Nick’s sources of inspiration: Bruce Lee & bamboo
Starting with Bruce Lee, Nick shares a great quote from him. In fact, it makes perfect sense. And, it can help you be successful in many parts of your life. Here’s what Bruce Lee had to say:
“Be like water.”
At first glance, this quote may be confusing. But when you ponder it, you realize that water becomes many things. It doesn’t have any shape. And, it takes the shape of whatever contains it. When you pour water into a glass, visually, it becomes the glass. When it flows in a river, it becomes the river.
Next, Nick says that you should be like bamboo. To elaborate, when you’re a real estate agent, being like bamboo means being patient. To explain, when bamboo is planted, it sits in the ground for about five years before it grows. Then after those five years, it breaks the surface and grows up to 30 meters in five to six weeks.
If you act like bamboo with new prospects, you must nurture them with great patience. When you do, they will eventually buy from you, the agent who stuck with them and kept in touch. In other words, it always pays off to act like bamboo. You will succeed when you can remain patient and stick with it for the long haul.

After returning from a Tom Ferry real estate seminar in Las Vegas, Nick realized that he was truly inspired. To explain, it dawned on him that many of us have been gambling with our real estate careers. In other words, we’re not doing the things we need to be doing and we’re doing the things we shouldn’t be doing.
The first thing that many of us are not doing, according to Nick, is we’re not investing in our career. And more, we’re not surrounding ourselves with people that are making us better, making us smarter. We should be surrounding ourselves with people that are challenging us as real estate agents.

You should get a mentor, get a coach. And you need to surround yourself with other like-minded real estate agents that will push you forward. Surround yourself with real estate agents that will help make you a better real estate agent yourself. It’s time to invest in it to ensure success. Surround yourself with the right people that are going to make you a better real estate agent.
Get a mentor and a coach for guidance
Although Nick Fong was already successful as a real estate broker, when he signed up for coaching, his business took off like a rocket.
