Nick and Rocío are one of the most influential couples in real estate and property management in Baja California Sur. Their story began in Cabo when Nick, visiting during spring break with friends, met Rocío on his second night there. Over time, their relationship grew stronger, leading them to marry in 2006. Nick Fong
Founder and Broker
Originally from Chicago, Nick began his real estate career in the heart of the Midwest. With a degree in Real Estate Finance from the University of Illinois, he quickly established a solid foundation in the industry. His dedication and passion led him to make a life-changing move to Los Cabos in 2004. In 2010, alongside his wife, Rocío Montaño, he founded Ronival™ Real Estate and Property Management.
Under Nick’s visionary leadership, Ronival™ has become a benchmark in the Baja California Sur real estate market. In 2022, the company achieved a major milestone, becoming the #1 real estate agency with over 680 pending and closed transactions. This success followed an impressive record of 750 transactions in 2021, solidifying Ronival’s reputation for excellence and results.
Specializing in luxury properties, property management, vacation rentals, developments, remodeling, and concierge services, Nick has built a dynamic team of over 100 professionals, including experienced real estate agents and administrative staff. Ronival™ Real Estate is known for representing exclusive developments in the region and is frequently sought after by developers to manage their sales and marketing efforts exclusively.
Nick’s contributions go beyond real estate transactions. He’s been featured on HGTV’s Beachfront Bargain Hunt and Mexico Life and served as a speaker at the 2020 Tom Ferry Virtual Summit. Today, he hosts The Nick Fong Podcast, a platform where he explores real estate trends, local culture, and life in Baja California Sur.
Rocío Montaño
Owner and Director
Rocío is a visionary leader and a recognized force in property management throughout Baja California Sur. Born in Mexico City, she graduated with honors in Tourism Business Administration from the Universidad del Valle de México. Her professional journey began in the hospitality industry in Cabo San Lucas in 1997, where she held key leadership roles in operations, team management, and strategic processes at Hotel Hacienda del Mar, developing an exceptional focus on operational excellence and customer service.
In 2010, recognizing a market opportunity in property management, Rocío co-founded Ronival™ Real Estate and Property Management with her husband, Nick Fong. Since then, she has transformed the company into an industry leader, standing out with a philosophy centered on innovation, empowerment, and building an inclusive work culture. Today, 80% of her team is made up of women, holding strategic roles and playing a fundamental part in the company’s ongoing success.
As Director of Ronival™ Property Management, Rocío leads with a vision focused on sustainable growth and service excellence. Her strategic approach and unwavering commitment to quality have been key to the company’s exponential growth, positioning it as a leader in Baja California Sur. Her leadership has also strengthened client and property owner trust, establishing Ronival™ as a prestigious brand in property management.
Beyond her professional role, Rocío is recognized for her impact as a mentor and promoter of local talent.
