Emma Nicholson comes from the UK where for over twenty five years she has crafted a career as a leading communications and sales professional. Her experience includes senior roles at some of the largest global communications agencies such as Ketchum, Fishburn Hedges and lately Edelman where she was Board Director in their London office. During her time in public relations and communications, Emma has been responsible for clients such as Unilever, P&G, Mars, Shell, Starbucks and Coca Cola. For several years, Emma has also negotiated investment in the natural resource sector across North America and Europe, and was previously a board member for a Canadian-based resource company. Emma’s experience in the property sector includes the launch of a property business in the UK, creating on-going communication and marketing plans for commercial property groups in the UK and supporting the launch of a new residential property chain on the East Coast of the US. She has a degree in Management and Systems Science 2:1 and has achieved Chartered Marketer status; DipM. Emma is devoted to dogs, and in her spare time, she organized the Los Barriles Dog Show that grew to become the largest amateur dog show in Mexico. She also founded Cortez Rescue & Outreach on the East Cape with a group of likeminded individuals. Emma has lived with Dan and their two dogs Honey and Badger in Los Barriles for the past eight years.
