Being a professional management company, Associa Mexico has branches in Canada and the United States, and of course, in Mexico. In fact, their headquarters is in Cabo San Lucas, which is in the Mexican State of Baja California Sur. As you’ll see in this recent interview, Melissa Eisenman describes what type of HOA management you can expect. Then, she reveals a little bit about her background. About Associa Mexico
Associa Mexico is an independent company that works with the Board of Directors of local community associations. In Canada, those associations are called Strata. And in the United States, they are called Home Owners Associations (HOA). But in Mexico, these associations are called Asociaciones Civiles Nacionales (IACIP). Regarding what they do exactly, Associa Mexico does all of the accounting for the associations they work with.
In the video, Melissa states that when a homeowner within an association’s community pays their yearly or monthly dues, the accounting is handled by Associa Mexico. On top of that, they create the monthly reporting and they make the tax payments for the them. Just in Cabo, they deal with 39 communities. And outside of Cabo, they handle 20 additional communities in Baja California Sur.
Melissa Eisenman’s background
Melissa Eisenman is both Mexican and American – she has dual citizenship. And as she tells Nick during the interview, she has lived in a few different countries. To be specific, she has lived in Venezuela, Columbia, , the United States – in Florida and of course, Mexico. As an interesting note, Melissa’s grandmother is from Puerto Vallarta, which is in the Mexican State of Jalisco. Therefore, although her father is American, her mother is from Mexico.
Having lived in Cabo for three years now, Melissa started working for Associa Mexico once she moved there. And since she met Nick Fong back then, she’s known him for three years now. In the video, Nick tells Melissa that Associa Mexico is like saints to his organization.
