GREAT NEWS FOR CANADIAN RESIDENTS: Travel back without a mandatory quarantine!

Great news! Canadians can now travel and return without being forced into a full quarantine! To explain, the government of Canada now allows fully vaccinated Canadian residents to travel home without a delay.  Reporting this awesome news, Nick Fong the broker and owner of Ronival Real Estate and Property Management, now joins Rick Parks, his resident Canadian real estate agent.

As Nick states, this is an important video because the news affects his Canadian clients. As such, Nick and Rick join forces to discuss how Canada has lifted the mandatory quarantine for those who are vaccinated return from a trip outside the country. Continue reading and see the truth about this first hand.

Entering Canada when properly vaccinated

Before now, Canadians haven’t been traveling to Cabo, or anywhere outside of Canada. That’s because of the re-entry mandatory quarantine, which is complicated and lengthy. As Rick explains, nobody wants to sit in the home under strict quarantine for two weeks, after a two-week vacation in Cabo, when they’ve been staying in their home for around 18 months already. That makes this very good news indeed.

Beginning on July 5th, 2021, the government of Canada now allows vaccinated travelers who meet specific conditions to enter the country without requiring a full quarantine. To begin, you must provide proof of vaccination based on the government conditions. So make sure your vaccine comes from one of four reliable sources: Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, or Johnson and Johnson. Then, make sure your vaccination took place at least 14 days prior to entering Canada.

Visiting Cabo during COVID-19 is safe

When you land at the Los Cabos International Airport, you are very safe everywhere they go.  For example, during your shuttle ride to town, drivers wear a face mask and they offer you hand sanitizer before entering.  Then, visitors mention that their accommodations are always very clean.  Also, they mentioned that all of the restaurants they’ve visited were very clean and safe – they take everyone’s temperature as they enter the establishment along with providing hand sanitizer.  Finally, even at the beaches, temperatures are taken as people enter the area.

As you’ll see, both residents and visitors feel very safe in Cabo has been the ability to eat outside.  They have been able to eat out on the patio of restaurants in the open air.  Of course, the air inside is just fine, but there’s nothing quite like the fresh Cabo ocean air outside.  Also, there are all of the other health accommodations provided by Cabo restaurants and the waiters, which make you feel very safe too.

It’s time to fly to Cabo

As of recently, the Los Cabos International Airport now handles about five million passengers a year.  It’s now the sixth largest airport in Mexico! And, that number is going up fast.  For example, there were about 650,000 more passengers in 2017 than there was in 2016.  That was a 15% increase.

The Los Cabos International Airport, renovated and expanded back in 1997, was designed by Mexican architect Manuel De Santiago-de Borbón González Bravo, the great-grandson of Queen Isabella II of Spain.  And, the expanded airport has two terminals.  To specify, Terminal One operates the domestic flights in Mexico, and Terminal Two handles all of the international flights.

Now, it’s time to visit one of the best vacation destinations in the world – Los Cabos. There are three ways to get there: drive, cruise ship, or fly. Driving is a beautiful journey, but very long. A cruise is more about your time on the ship, not so much about your time on land. But, flying directly to the Los Cabos International Airport gets you to Cabo quickly – the place to spend your ENTIRE vacation.
